Desert Hearts Festival Drops Camping and Moves Los Angeles

Earlier this year, Desert Hearts dropped a massive lineup for the upcoming edition of their annual festival that was set to return to Lake Perris on May 5-8. Today, those plans have changed as their team announced some unfortunate news for those looking forward to 72 straight hours of house, techno, and love. Due to complications with venue requirements and the effects of inflation on production costs, Desert Hearts Festival could no longer move forward as planned at their latest home without sacrificing the quality of the experience.

Burn Notice: Coliseum Opens Its New Venue

AT LOS ANGELES’ VENERABLE STADIUM, THE TORCH IS LIT It is the only venue in the world with plaques in bronze relief of Knute Rockne, Jesse Owens, Bruce Springsteen, Pope John Paul II, Vin Scully and Armistice Day, among many others. This because the new venue’s footprint includes the 1923 building’s grand peristyle plaza, the venue’s signature feature, consisting of a large center arch with a sometimes-flaming cauldron atop it along with six flanking arches on each side and a total of 24 columns surrounding the Memorial Court of Honor.

Officially ignited in August 2021, the Torch at the LA Coliseum introduces a new outdoor performance venue in the heart of Los Angeles. A lush, tree-lined open-air space with the iconic backdrop of the Coliseum’s Peristyle, the Torch will host general admission shows with 3,500 capacity up to 10,000. We welcome the Angeleno community to enjoy cutting-edge entertainment in Exposition Park, under the stars.
